NASA’s Biggest Photo Of Andromeda Galaxy Ever!

So NASA released the BIGGEST photo EVER taken of our neighbor: The Andromeda Galaxy. (Click on the image to get the full size of this picture)

For those of you who don’t know, the Andromeda Galaxy is  2.5 MILLION Light Years Away. That means it would take LIGHT 2.5 MILLION YEARS to travel from here to there. Remember, light is the fastest moving thing that we currently know to exist.

Now this image shows about 100 Million Stars in total! How small and insignificant does that make you feel??!

The image itself was taken by the Hubble Telescope with “7,398 exposures taken over 411 individual pointings.”

Due to this, the image is over4.3 Gigabytes and contains almost 1.5 BILLION pixels (Thats over 600 HDTVS). Because of the sheer size, the image was actually transformed into a video! Check it out!

Below you can check out the individual segments of the image! They’re MASSIVE!
